Andy Warhol's famos art workPainter, ArtistAndrew Warhola (AKA-Andy Warhol) was born August 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At an early age, Warhol was diagnosed with a nervous system disease that caused him to involuntary move his body around. He spent a great deal of time in bed as a child and became very close to his Mother while she cared for him. Young Warhol not having many friends or going to School like most other kids, relied heavily on his imagination to keep him occupied. Andy loved to listen to the radio and was fascinated with Movie Stars which he would cut pictures out of magazines and place all around him. Warhol was also deeply into drawing and shown impressive artistic abilities even at such an early age. He would later go on to attend the School of Fine Arts at the Carnegie Institute of Technology where he first studied Commercial Art. After graduating, Andy Warhol moved to new York City in 1949 and started a career in Advertising and illustrations for a magazine publisher. Warhol was also hired by RCA Records to design Album Covers using his realistic art painting abilities.

Pop Art by Andy WarholAndy Warhol holds his first Fine Art Gallery Exhibition on July 9, 1962 in Los Angeles which makes it's debut of Pop Art to the West Coast and becomes an instant success. Later that same year, Warhol holds his first New York exhibit which puts Pop Art into the spotlight around the Country and makes Andy Warhol a household name. Warhol soon discovers mixing his art with already famous people and products makes his artwork instantly recognizable. Some of his early works of famous movie stars would include his Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor paintings. Warhol would also become famous for his paintings of Coca-Cola bottles and perhaps his most recognized painting would become the Campbell's Soup Can.
